Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant Applications Due By March 7, 2017
February 28, 2017 by John Maynes |
The Iowa Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant Program Board of Directors has scheduled their next meeting date for March 23. The Board of Directors meets quarterly to review applications made by petroleum marketers for infrastructure improvements promoting the sale of ethanol, biodiesel, or both.
Securing a future source of funding for the program during the 2017 legislative session remains a priority for PMCI. However, at this time a source of funding has yet to be identified and depending on the number of applications received by the infrastructure board, it is possible that the program’s funding could be exhausted after the meeting on March 23. In order for applications to be reviewed at the March 23 meeting, completed applications must be submitted to the Department of Agriculture by the close of business on March 7.
Information about the program including the application and instructions can be found here.
