PMCI President Dawn Carlson and Regulatory Affairs Manager John Maynes will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to meet with Iowa’s Senators and Representatives. PMAA’s Washington Conference takes place May 17-19. Joining PMCI’s staff members will be Glenn Hasken with Molo Petroleum located in Dubuque, Iowa. PMCI representatives will meet individually with Iowa Senators Charles Grassley and Joni Ernst in addition to Iowa Representatives David Loebsack, Rod Blum, Steve King, and David Young. Some of the topics that PMCI will discuss with our Senators and Representatives include the Renewable Fuel Standard Point of Obligation, the Financial Security Act and its impact on swipe fee reform, the Biodiesel Tax Credit, and the EPA’s pending testing requirements for underground storage tank systems. PMAA’s Washington Conference is an important opportunity for PMCI and its membership to develop relationships with our elected officials and share our concerns on how federal policies impact our small business members.
