2018 Annual Membership Meeting

All PMCI members are cordially invited to attend our 2018 Annual Meeting followed by the Welcome Back Legislative Reception.This is your opportunity to hear first-hand from key decision makers on important issues impacting your business, as well as PMCI's plans for 2018. Also, receive a legislative briefing and put that knowledge to work as you meet your 2018 legislators in a fun and relaxed setting. Two valuable events packed into a single day. This is a must-attend! Lunch included.
To register, in lieu of the typical $50 registration fee, we are requesting a minimum $50 personal contribution to the PMCI PAC, or a minimum $50 corporate donation to the PMCI PEF Fund. If unable to make political contributions, you can elect to be invoiced for the typical $50 registration fee.
Please bring a personal check for PAC contributions or a corporate check for PEF contributions.
PAC contributors of $100 or more will receive a PMCI PAC lapel pin and donors will be recognized at the meeting.
Agenda Highlights
Iowa Budget and Economy | Dave Roederer, Director, Iowa Department of Management
Come hear Mr. Roederer share his detailed knowledge of Iowa's budget, economy and the issues the state faces in dealing with revenues. More specifically, he will focus on the challenges facing the Revenue Estimating Conference, and the implications of FY17 that ended on June 30.
State Budget, Taxes and Key Legislative Initiatives | The Honorable Pat Grassley, Iowa House of Representatives
Representative Grassley, now serving his sixth term in the Iowa House, is the chair of the House Appropriations Committee. In this critical role, he initiated a review of all tax credits in the state and introduced 2017 legislation to cut and cap refunds, including the renewable fuel tax credits. Representative Grassley will present his thoughts on what legislators might consider in the 2018 season with respect to budget, taxes, and other key legislative issues.

Get up to speed on the key issues impacting our industry and put that knowledge to work with legislators at the Welcome Back Legislative Reception immediately following the Annual Meeting. A Q&A session will follow.
Renewable Fuels Marketing Awards | The Honorable Bill Northey, Secretary of the Iowa Department of Agriculture
Secretary Northey will present the Ethanol and Biodiesel Fuel Marketing Awards for the Year.
State of the Association, and Directors Reports | Jason McDermott, PMCI Board Chairman & Other Board Leaders
Learn all there is to know about PMCI initiatives and current state of our association from the Chairman and Key Officers.
Following the Annual Meeting, we will make our way to the State Historical Building for the WELCOME BACK LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION to meet and greet Legislators in fun and relaxed setting, with beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres
