The Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa (PMCI) has changed its name to FUELIowa to better represent our members and the variety of fuels they provide to Iowans. The new name speaks to what our members do every day -- fuel Iowa's economy.

Since 1937 we have been Iowa’s fuel experts, advocating for innovative and quality fuel options, consumer and environmental protection and fairness in the marketplace. We push for policies that protect Iowa’s fuels industry, and our name to fully represents who we fight to protect. Our members include fuel distributors, fuel cooperatives, convenience and grocery stores, refiners, biofuel producers and many other businesses that support these companies.

We are committed to our members, representing their interests and providing them with the essential services for their businesses. Our 2019 legislative priorities include:

• Securing funding for infrastructure improvements

• Focusing the allocation of UST funding on active businesses

• Allowing convenience stores to opt out of the bottle and can redemption

• Critical policies to ensure economic prosperity for your business.
