Matt is Co-Owner and COO of The Depot Express, headquartered in Tiffin, IA. A second generation owner, Matt returned to the family business after earning his degree in Marketing and Certificate of Entrepreneur-ship from the University of Iowa. Over the last 17 years, Matt has helped his family grow a single service station started in 1975 to a chain of 10 convenience stores that he operates with his family and many co-workers. He has worked various mana-gerial roles in the petro-leum/convenience industry and has fond memories of his family’s business over the years. In 2020, Matt Co-Founded Express Management, a conve-nience store management solution for business owners who are exploring exit strategy options.  Express Management is currently managing 4 locations in Eastern Iowa.  Matt looks forward to the opportunity to use his industry expertise and serve FUELIowa members as a contributing voice of small business owners.
