Apply for An Iowa Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant

The Iowa Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant Program Board of Directors are set to convene on April 4, 2019 to review the next round of infrastructure grant applications. In order for applications to be review at the April 4 meeting, completed applications must be submitted to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship by 4:30 pm on March 21, 2019. Eligible projects include installations supporting the sale of E15, E85, and biodiesel blends containing a minimum of 2 percent biodiesel. Successful applicants are eligible to receive up to $50,000 or 70 percent of the projects cost, whichever is less. An applicant may receive two awards for the same location when combining an E15 or E85 project with a biodiesel project. Grant funding is also available for biodiesel terminal (bulk storage) projects. A biodiesel terminal project for blends of B2-B98 are eligible for up to $50,000 and biodiesel terminal projects for B99-B100 are eligible for up to $100,000.
