State of Iowa Diesel Testing Program Ramps Up

It’s that time of year again.  Cold weather is set to descend upon the state once again and it’s likely here to stay for the foreseeable future.  It has now been three years since PMCI approached the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) about creating a winter diesel testing program for the state of Iowa.  The feedback from PMCI members on the state winter diesel testing program has been positive.  The tests on diesel fuel conducted by IDALS staff are tailored toward the needs of petroleum marketers and their end-use customers.  All samples are tested using the Iowa Central Community College fuel testing laboratory in Fort Dodge.  Please contact PMCI if you have any questions.
