Tuesday, January 13, 2026 – President Trump today announced on Truth Social his full and unwavering support for the Credit Card Competition Act, a groundbreaking piece of legislation sponsored by Senators Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Dick Durbin (D-IL). This bill will finally break the stranglehold of the Visa-Mastercard duopoly that's been fleecing American businesses and consumers with outrageous swipe fees for far too long.
