PMAA Elects Sharon Peterson Chairwoman of the Board

Sharon Peterson comes from a long-standing family business in West Haven, Connecticut. She has held many roles in the company, including comptroller and treasurer, and has served on countless industry boards of directors. Before joining the company, she received her undergraduate degree at Yale and master’s degree at Stanford. An interesting fact that few may know about Sharon: she is an Olympic athlete, having won her respective age group competition at the U.S. Gymnastics Federation Junior Olympic program (a few years back).

Sharon is deeply devoted to the industry and community and exhibits great pride in the family businesses that make up the membership of PMAA. “We share a passion for the community and for the environment (particularly with our transition to biofuels), and a desire to preserve and protect each other, the business, the community, and the environment in which we work and live. The family and community focus encourages us to foster equal positions for our sons and daughters”, says Peterson. PMCI congratulations Sharon Peterson as the new chairwoman of PMAA.
