Iowa Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant Program Board Application Deadline This Week

The Iowa Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Grant Program Board of Directors is scheduled to meet and review grant applications for qualified ethanol and bioidesel infrastructure projects on Thursday, April 4 at 1 p.m. Applicants that wish to have an application reviewed at this meeting are required to have a completed application submitted to the Iowa Department of Agriculture by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
Iowa’s infrastructure grant program exists to assist private investment into infrastructure supporting the growth of ethanol and biodiesel sales in Iowa. Successful applicants are eligible to receive a grant for up to 70% of the cost of a project or $50,000, whichever is less. Heated biodiesel terminal projects are eligible to receive 70% of the cost of the project or $100,000, whichever is less. To view the application or learn more about the project click here.
