Iowa DNR Underground Storage Tank Renewal Online Database Now Accepting Registrations

The Iowa DNR UST section requires all active and temporarily closed USTs with a storage capacity greater than 1100 gallons to complete the annual tank renewal process. The annual tank management fee is set at $65 per compartment and is due to be paid by January 15, 2018.  Payment of the annual tank management fee does not mean the facility is authorized to operate. Tank tags will be issued after payment and review of the site’s financial responsibility status, most recent compliance inspection, and confirmation of no outstanding major compliance violations.

Tank management tags are required to be placed on fill ports beginning April 1 and are valid through March 31 of the following year.
