Iowa Revenue’s Retail Fuel Report Past Due

PMCI members are reminded that the 2017 Retailer's Fuel Gallons Report was due January 31. The Department will continue to accept reports through February 21. All fuel marketers should have received an email in December with the link to the webform to complete and submit to the Department. Keep in mind, the sales data used to complete the report is kept confidential and by law, it is presented annually to the Legislature which uses it to make decisions on the State’s biofuel policies and incentives. PMCI shares this report with members after the Department of Revenue publishes it annually. The state tax incentives paid out should reflect the gallons reported on the retail fuel gallon report and it should point out opportunities, i.e. off-road biodiesel sales.
