2019 Retailers Fuel Gallons Annual Report

The Iowa Department of Revenue released their Retailers Fuel Gallons Annual report on April 1, 2020.  The annual report compiled by the Department is based on voluntary responses from retailers to the Department’s request for fuel gallons sold in calendar year 2019.  In total, 2,120 retail locations responded to the Department’s request for information. Iowa retailers reported selling 1.56B gallons of gasoline and 838M gallons of diesel fuel.  Ethanol blended gasoline accounted for 87 percent of all gasoline gallons sold and biodiesel blends accounted for 70 percent of all on-road diesel gallons sold.  The full report is available here.
